Rules

Categories

Athletes may compete in as many categories as they wish, as long as they meet the requirements for each.

Only athletes competing in OPEN divisions at a Pro Qualifier are eligible for Pro Cards.

Photo ID required for Juniors and Masters.

First-Timers

A new competitor – first competition with Pro League.

Juniors

Under 23 years old on the day of your competition.

Masters

Bikini over 35, and all other classes over 40 years old on the day of your competition.

Novice

A newer competitor who has never won a competition.

Open

Open to anyone. The only category elligable to win a Pro Card at a Pro Qualifier.

Divisions & Cross-Overs

Category cross-overs are allowed for any category that the athlete is elligable for, from the same division (eg. A bikini athlete may compete in First-Timers, Novice and Open if they wish, but not Figure.)

Division categories are are restricted, excpet for Classic Physique and Wellness:

CLASSIC PHYSIQUE

May cross-compete in either Bodybuilding and Men’s Physique, but not both.

WELLNESS

May cross-compete in either Bikini and Figure, but not both.

Classic Physique

Height and Weight Requirements

Classic Physique is the only division with height/weight restrictions. Please download the chart beow to see the guidelines.  You must be within these ranges at your athlete check-in.

Posing Routines

Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, and Women’s Physique perform a 60 second posing routine.

Fitness is required to perform a 120 second routine with mandatory acrobatic movements as exaplined in the division rules. In Australia, Amateur Fitness will also be allowed to complete their comparison rounds in a two-piece.

Posing music must be provided on a USB at the check-in. If you don’t have music, our DJ will pick something for you. No explicit lyrics or content is to be used in posing routines

All other divisions will have an individual walk, and comparisson rounds.  More information on walks and posing can be found in the division rules, or at our free posing workshops.

Withdrawing from a competition

A refund may be available if you have registered and are no longer able to compete. Pro League Australia will hold $10 to cover admin fees associated with your registration. If you withdraw closer than 30 days out from your competition, a valid medical, personal or situational explanation will be required before your refund is considered.
